These are all problems in substitution! It's like my favorite commercial on TV, which is the Glade commercial. Have you seen it? "Plug it in, plug it in!!" So plug it in:

1. When x+=+1%2F6,
+%284%2F3%29+x+
%284%2F3%29%2A%281%2F6%29+=+4%2F18+=+2%2F9

2. When x = 3,
%28+24%2Fx%29+=+%2824%2F3%29+=+8

3. When d = 0.5
9%2Ad+=+9%2A%280.5%29+=+4.5+

4. We seem to have lost #4

To do the last one, you need a common denominator, which is 16. The first fraction is fine, but multiply the second fraction by 2 over 2.
