Question 1106592: If a*b means 2a^2-b and a#b means a/2-2b, what is the value of a*(a#b) if a=4 and b=1?
Answer by Fombitz(32388)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a#b=a/2-2b
4#1=4/2-2(1)=2-2=0
So
a*(a#b)=4*0=2(4)^2-0=2(16)=32
