Question 110593: How do I solve these problems? The problem states to: find the product and simplif:(x-3y)^2
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
simplif:(x-3y)^2
------------
(x-3y)(x-3y)
Use FOIL:
F: x*x = x^2
O: x*-3y = -3xy
I: -3y*x = -3xy
L: -3y*-3y = 9y^2
----------------------------------------
Combine to get:
x^2-6xy+9y^2
