You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The sum of an angle and its complement is 90 degrees. So if the measure of one of the angles is x, then the measure of the other angle is x-17 and x+%2B+%28x-17%29+=90

2x-17=90
2x=107
x=53.5

The sum of an angle and its complement is 180.
1st angle = x
2nd angle = %28x-5%29%2F3

x+%2B+%28%28x-5%29%2F3%29=180
