She not only saw all of her patients in only 22 days, but she also saw an additional 80 patients. How many patients does the doctor normally see per day?"
Answer by josmiceli(19441)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let = the normal number of paients/day
[ patients/day ] x [ days needed to see them ] = [ total of patients seen ]

The new rate, , times days includes
additional patients seen, so I have to subtract it to get ,
the original number of patients sen

The doctor normally sees 15 patients/day
