Question 1045678: 3/2 (5x+7)-4=2/5 (3-x)+2
Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3/2 (5x+7)-4=2/5 (3-x)+2
distribute after first moving the 2 to the left side
(15/2)x+(21/2)-6=(6/5)-(2/5)x
Multiply everything by 10
75x+105-60=12-4x
79x=-33
x=-0.418 or -0.42
Check
(3/2)(-2.09+7)-4=(2/5)(3.418)+2
1.5(4.91)-4=1.367+2
7.365-4=3.367
3.365=3.367, and given the rounding that was done, that checks.
