Question 1041154: if x>0, what is the simplified form of the following expression?
what is the square root of 360x^3 divided by the square root 10^3?

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sqrt [360x^3/sqrt(10^3)]
sqrt(36*10*x^2*x)/10 sqrt(10)
6x*sqrt(10x)/10 sqrt(10)
(3x/5)sqrt(x)
===
Check with x=5
sqrt (360*125)/sqrt (1000)
That is sqrt(45000/1000)
That is sqrt 45, or 3 sqrt(5)
(3x/5)sqrt(5)=(15/5) sqrt(5)=3sqrt(5)
