Question 1013953: I am trying to get the factors of 7y^2 -y. I cannot figure it as the same as other problems I have been doing such as: 5x + 30. You would divide both by 5 and wold get x + 6. Your factors would be 5 and x+6. Can someone one please show me how they get the factors of 7y^2-y? What would you divide both terms by. I thought you would divide both by y but what is 7y^2 ÷ y? Answers would be much appreciated!
