-2x - y = -5

Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-2X-Y=-5 NOW MULTIPLY THIS EQUATION BY 2 & ADD TO THE OTHER EQUATION
-4X-2Y=-10
-3X+2Y=10
--------------------------
-7X=0
X=0 ANSWER.
-2*0+2Y=10
2Y=10
Y=10/2
Y=5 ANSWER.
PROOF:
