This problem has to be solved algebraically. I am quite confused by this.
y=1.2x - 32.7
y=-0.7x + 46.15

Since both expressions in x are equal to y, set them equal to each other.
y= 1.2x - 32.7 = -0.7x + 46.15
1.2x - 32.7 = -0.7x + 46.15
1.9x = 78.85
x = 41.5
------------
Sub x into an eqn to find y
y = 1.2x - 32.7
y = 1.2*41.5 -32.7
y = 17.1
