I know the answer would be:
=36x^-14
=36/x^14
but my instructor wrote: You have to either use a formula or rewrite your problem (6x-7)(6x-7)
Would it then be: 36-7=29 * 29 = 58????
I don't understand this...Please Help!!!!! Thank you

rewrite your problem (6x-7)(6x-7)
Use FOIL:
F: 6x*6x = 36x^2
O: 6x*-7 = -42x
I: 6x*-7 = -42x
L: -7*-7 = 49

Combine all these to get:
36x^2-84x+49
