Solve 3^t+1 = 7^t-1 for t
Assume it is
(t+1)*log(3) = (t-1)*log(7)
(t+1) = (t-1)*
(t+1) = 1.7712(t-1)
t + 1 = 1.7712t - 1.7712
1 + 1.7712 = 1.7712t - t
2.7712 = .7712t
t =
t = 3.593 approx
