Question 800003: I have been stuck on this problem for a while: (12x^-3y^9)/(-3x^-7y^-3)
This is what I have come up with : 4/(x^4y^12) I know this is wrong. it seems that the part to simplify the 12 and negative 3 gives me a negative 4 that i don't know where to put to make it positive; either the way I thought which is wrong or writing it as (x^4y^12)/4.I have even tried 4x^4y^12.. and still it is wrong. I have struggled with this problem for 2 days. I need help or I wont pass my test.
