Question 66910: 6(-3)/(-32)
/ means divide

Answer by ptaylor(2198)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6(-3)/(-32)
NUMERATOR: 6(-3)=-18 Now we have
-18/-32 this can be written as ((-1)(18))/((-1)(32)) and the -1's cancel so we have left
18/32 and this reduces: divide numerator and denominator by 2 and we get
9/16
Hope this helps----ptaylor
