Question 647412: Can 4 to the 3rd power divided by 16 to the 3rd. Power be simplified ....Why or why not? ?
Answer by aaronwiz(69)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi, my name is Aaron I am in 10th grade and im in honors trig/pre-calc.
Yes it can. The easiest way to do this is to make it so 4 is the number being raised to a power in both the numerator and the denominator. Lets begin 16^3=4^4, so...
4^3/16^3
=
4^3/4^4
=
4^1/4^2
=
4/16
=
1/4
Hope I helped. I would really appreciate your recommendation, their are plenty of other things I could be doing rather then spending time on this site helping people. Good luck! :)
