First lets multiply everything in the second set of parentheses by x. So we get x^5+x^4+x^3+x^2+x. Now lets multiply everything in the second set of parentheses by 1 and subtract that from x^5+x^4+x^3+x^2+x. So (x^5+x^4+x^3+x^2+x)-(x^4+x^3+x^2+x+1)= x^5-1. So the answer is x^5-1.
