Question 629713: I need help on this problem, I'm not sure if I have the steps right or if I'm doing something wrong. Any help is appreciated. :)
"evaluate the expression"
5^0 + 8^1
5^0 is always a 1 so 1 + 8^1
then i make the 8^1 a fraction I think?
1 + 8^1/1
then i multiply so is the answer 1 64/1 ?
Is that true or false.
