Hello,
Follow this pattern with these: (3c+2)(4c+1)
Multiply (3c)(4c) to get: 12c^2
Now mult (3c)(1) to get: 3c
Mult (2)(4c) to get: 8c
and last, mult (2)(1)to get: 2
when we combine these we get:
12c^2+11c+2
Make sense?
