Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if x2+y2=85
and xy=9
what is (x+y)2
add 2xy to both sides
x^2+2xy+y^2=85+2xy
(x+y)^2= 85+2*9
(x+y)^2=103
