Question 50112: I am trying to help our daughter with her 7th grade math and being so many years since we were in school, I need help knowing what is what.She is doing problems with integers and I don't even know what it is. Thank-you in advance for any help

An integer if any whole number such as ...-9,-8,-7...0,1,2,3....
Fractions are not integers unless they can be written as a whole number,
like 6/3 can be written as 2.
Decimals are not integers
