MULTIPLYING REAL NUMBERS
With like signs: Multiply their absolute values. The product is positive.
With unlike signs: Multiply their absolute values. The product is negative.
Multiplication by zero: If x is any real number, then x*0=0*x=0.
DIVIDING REAL NUMBERS
With like signs: Divide the absolute values. The quotient is positive.
With unlike signs: Divide the absolute values. The quotient is negative.
Division by zero: Division by zero is undefined.
