simplify: (3x^4)^2(4x^-5)^-1/12x^-6 = (3x^4) (3x^4)=9x^8
9x^8 * 4x^-6/12x^-6
simplify 4th root of (x^5 divided by 16y^15)
simplify: (x^1/4y^1/2)^2(x^2y^3)^1/2

=x(x^(1/4)) / [2y^3(y^(3/4)]
=(x/2y^3)(x/y^3)^(1/4)

=[x^(1/2)/(16y]
=[x^(3/2)y(3/2)]/16y

Comment: You may find the "simplified" versions
in your answer book are different then these.
To simplify frequently allows for many interpretations.
The important thing is that you arrive at a correct
form that is acceptable for your purposes.
