Nissi's rate of painting is (1 house)/(6 hrs)
Let = the time it takes them to paint the
house working together
Just add their rates to get their rate working together
Multiply both sides by
Their rate working together is (1 house)/(2.4 hrs)
To convert hrs to minutes:
hrs x min/hr = min
It takes them 2 hours and 24 minutes working together
