Answer by Nate(3500)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Your question:4 x 2 ^(-15/35) =?
----------------------------------------------
My answer:
(4)(2)^(-3/7)-----simplify
(4)/(2)^(3/7)------move 2^-3/7 to the denominater to get the exponent to be positive
(4)(2^4/7)/(2^3/7)(2^4/7)------multiply the numerater and the denominater by 2^4/7 so you do not have an exponential form in the denominater (remember: 2^1 is 2)
4(2^4/7)/2-----simplify four over two
2(2^4/7) is your answer!
