Question 245257: A semicircular window of radius 10 inches is to be laminated with a sunblock coating that costs $0.85 per square inch to apply. What is the total cost of coating the window, to the nearest cent? (Use п = 3.14)
Answer by Haily(1) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
So first square the radius, you get 100. then take 100*3.14=314
Since its a semicircle, you will divide by two and get, 157
Then take 157*0.85= 133.45
So your answer should be $133.45
