Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1. Simplify: 4[a – b(2 + 3a)] – 3a[2+b(4 – a)]
Work from the inside out. Eliminate parentheses.
4[a – b(2 + 3a)] – 3a[2+b(4 – a)]
= 4[a - 2b - 3ab] - 3a[2 + 4b - ab]
= 4a - 8b - 12ab - 6a - 12b + 3a^2b
Then combine terms
= -2a - 20b - 12ab + 3a^2b
----------------
2. Simplify: (7x2 – 2y + z) + (3y – z) + (4x2 – 6y)
Just remove the parentheses and combine terms.
7x2 – 2y + z + 3y – z + 4x2 – 6y
= 11x^2 -5y

1. Simplify: 4[a – b(2 + 3a)] – 3a[2+b(4 – a)]
4[a - b(2 + 3a)] - 3a[2 + b(4 - a)]
Remove the parentheses by distributing. This gives us:
4[a - 2b - 3ab] - 3a[2 + 4b - ab]
Combine like terms:
2. Simplify: (7x2 – 2y + z) + (3y – z) + (4x2 – 6y)
Remove parentheses:
