You have probably forgotten that...anything to the zero power is equal to 1.
If x%5En+=+1 then n must be 0 because: x%5E0+=+1, so...
If 3.5%5En+=+1, then n must be 0 because 3.5%5E0+=+1
Or you can resort to logarithms to show the same thing:
3.5%5En+=+1 Take the log of both sides.
nlog%283.5%29+=+log%281%29 Divide both sides by log(3.5)
n+=+log%281%29%2Flog%283.5%29 But log(1) = 0, so...
