"multiplicative inverse"
Example: Find the multiplicative inverse of 5.
Write 5 as 5/1
The multiplicative inverse is the reciprocal of 5/1.
5/1 x 1/5 =1 When you multiply a number by its multiplicative inverse the product is always 1.
