To avoid such idiotic situations, there is THE RULE in Math, that a base in exponential expression can only be a positive number.
One can write 64 = and even 32 = ,
but if this "one" will say that he uses (-2) as the base in exponential expressions, based on given examples, then
other people will consider him as a heavily ill person.
So, in my view, it is much better do not ask such a question (such questions) (even as a joke),
but simply follow commonly accepted rules in elementary Math.
