Square both sides.  You will get


9 =  =  -  +  =  - 2 + .


Hence,   +  = 9 + 2 = 11.


Then     +  +  -   (which is under the question) is equal to


     +  = 11 +3*3 = 20.


Answer.  Then   +  = 20.
