There's bad news and there's good news. The bad news is that yes, this looks like a very messy problem. If we focus on the expression shown below



Then it will take a bit of steps to simplify.

However, notice how that expression (mentioned above) is surrounded by another set of parenthesis and that block is raised to the exponent of 0.

Recall that anything to the 0th power, except 0 itself, is 1. In other words, where x can't equal 0, but x can be any other number you want.

So the good news is that while the expression looks nasty, we can essentially use one step to get the final answer using the identity

The final answer is 1.
