The only problem is that my graphing calculator does not have a key that looks like that. I assume this is because it is a different model or brand, but I have looked and I can't figure out what keys I should use instead. I have a CASIO fx-9750GII.

For your calculator, you need to use the ^ key. Its next to the EXIT key.
I would press the keys in this order:
9.26 ^ ( -4.58 ) EXE
