Substitute 7x instead of y into equation of the circle.


You will get 


x^2 + 49x^2 = 50  --->  50x^2 = 50,  x = +/-1.


Thus the point A is (x,y) = (1,7) in quadrant I.


The other point is (x,y) = (-1,-7) in quadrant III.
