All I need to know is the remainder in that problem.
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
look at the powers of 2
2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, ...
see a pattern? ... the units digit repeats in a cycle of four 2 - 4 - 8 - 6
98 divided by 4 is 24 with a remainder of 2
... this means the units digit in 2^98 is the second in the cycle - 4
so, what's the remainder?
