Question 1051762: simplify the answer should only contain positive exponents
(2x^4 y^4)^-2 * x^-2 y^-4
thank you in advance

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(2x^4 y^4)^-2 * x^-2 y^-4
This is 2^-2*x^-8*y^-8*x^-2*y^-4
That is 1/[4x^10*y^12]
Be sure to remember that 2^-2 is part of the answer, which is 1/2^2
