Question 102079: I wasn't sure how to classify my question, but here it is. Fill in the blank in the following pattern: 0,1,64,243,256,125,____,7,1. The answer is 36, but I can't solve it. I think it has something to do with squaring or cubing the numbers, but I can't figure it out. Please help. Thanks.

(8/s)+(8/(s^2)) I came up with an answer, but it was not in the choices offered, so I haven't got a clue!!! :o(

I came up with a^14b^9, correct?

Solve by using the quadratic formula. 5x^2 + x = 3
I came up with -1+-sqrt61/10, correct??

Question 104591: I asked this earlier. Thanks Ed for replying. I could npt get the site to open where I could say thanks. I got the same answer as you did on the first problem I submitted, however like I stated before it was not an option. Here are all the options I was given. PLEASE help me!!
