Question 63870This question is from textbook Algebra I an Incremental Development
: The problem I am trying to solve is -n + 0.4n + 1.8 = -4.2. I think that I need to add the 2 n's together, but I am not sure how, since one is negative, and there is no value is it 0? So would it just be .4n? or -.4n? Then I think I need to add -1.8 to each side, which would then be .4n = -6.0 and the answer would be -15. Am I on the right track? This question is from textbook Algebra I an Incremental Development
