The bottom (or denominator) of the problem cannot be equal to zero as division by zero is undefined.
ie (9 - x^2)cannot equal zero.
Factorise (9 - x^2)
ie(3-x)(3+x) cannot equal zero.
So x cannot be equal to 3 and it cannot be equal to -3.

when x=3 or -3 the denominator becomes 0 and division by 0 is not allowed.
othewise x can be any number from -infinity to +infinity.
