We have to simplify algebraic fractions like this, I tried to simplify it myself and I got an answer of 9 but I have a feeling I am going wrong somewhere as I did:
4(x-3) divided by (x+3)(x-3) + 5(x+3)(x-3) divided by (x-3) in which I cancelled out the brackets which were the same and I ended up with 4+5(x+3) divided by (x+3) and then I cancelled out the (x+3) and ended up with 4+5 which is 9
Am I right? Or am I doing something wrong?
