The question is 6(m + 1)^8/6(m + 1).
In division, the exponents of terms are simply subtracted. For example, g^4/g^3 = g because 4 - 3 = 1.
x^2007/x^1990 = x^7 because 2007 - 1990 = 7.
m^9999999/m^9999998 = m^1 or just m because 9,999,999 - 9,999,998 = 1.
So what would 6(m + 1)^8/6(m + 1) be? Take the exponents and subtract them.
