(x-1)^2/3-25=0

If 2/3 is the exponent:
(x-1)^2/3-25=0
(x-1)^2/3 = 25
Cube both sides
(x-1)^2 = 25^3
(x-1)^2 = 5^6
Take the square root
x - 1 = 5^3 = 125
x = 126
