Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The number of bacteria present in a culture after t minutes is given as B=100^ kt. if there are 6231 bacteria present after 11 minutes, find k.
------------------
6231=100^(11k)
Take the log of both sides to get:
log6231 = (11k)log100
3.79456=22k
k=0.1725
