(x^2y^-3z)^1/2 / x^1/2yz^-1/2
The answer Ive come to is
x1/y^3/2z^1/2 / x^1/2y1/z^2
am I even close??

Let's see, you want to simplify:

Let's do the numerator first: Multiply every exponent inside the parentheses by the exponent outside the parentheses.

So, now we have:
Move factors in the numerator with negative exponents down to the denominator to make the exponents positive and factors in the denominator with negative exponents up to the numerator to make the exponents positive.
Now simplify this.
