Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/27= 9^x
3^(-3) = (3^2)^x
3^(-3) = 3^(2x)
-3 = 2x ... Note: since the bases are equal, the exponents are equal
-3/2 = x
x = - 3/2
