Question 314458: please help me figure this problem out.
it's supposed to show up with the exponents as a fraction ^-1/2 and ^-2/3 but it won't work

Answer by texttutoring(324)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Multiply the exponents together to remove the bracket:

-1/3 * -2/3 = 1/3
So now you are simply left with

125^(1/3)

The 3rd root of 125 is 5. The answer is 5.
