Check how you're inputing the problem. make sure that the entire exponent is used
It looks like you keyed it in as x^(-1)/5 * x^(-1)/4
which gives you and the wrong answer.

Key it in as: x^(-1/5) * x^(-1/4) which will give you the correct form

and bob's your uncle!
