Question 230791: If f(x) = 2x-4, find f^-1(x)
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If f(x) = 2x-4, find f^-1(x)
------------
y = 2x-4
To find the inverse:
interchange x and y to get:
x = 2y-4
solve for y:
y = (x+4)/2
That is the inverse
