can you please help me answer ((( x varies directly as the square of s and iversely as t. How does x change when s is doubled? When both s and t are doubled? )))
--------------
x = ks^2/t (k is some constant)
Double s
x*C= k*(2s)^2/t = 4 = 4x
x is multiplied by 4.
------------
If they're both doubled, you get k*4s^2/2t
so x is multiplied by 2
------------------
In general, if s is multiplied by Q, x is multiplied by Q^2.
If t is multiplied by Z, x is multiplied by 1/Z
