Question 187553: There is 3 part to my question -
1st - the product of the frequency (f) & the wavelength (w) of light in air is a constant (v). I'm to write an equation for this relationship.
2nd - solve equation for w. Then write this equation as an equation with (f) raised to negative exponent.
3rd - units of frequency are hertz (Hz). One hertz is one cycle per second, which is often as 1/s. Rewrite this expression using a negative exponent.
Thanks for any help you can give. I think for the first part it would be (f)(w)=V.

-------------------
You can use V, but c is more common, which is the speed of light.
V = fw (Lambda is usually used for wavelength, but w is ok)
-------------------
V = fw
w = V/f =
-------------------
f = cycles/sec =
