Answer by nerdybill(7384) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since, they gave you a "function of x":
f(x)=x^2-2x+1
.
Now, if they want you to find f(0), this simply means that if
x=0
what is the value of f(x)?
.
All you need to do is substitute x with a zero and solve:
f(x)=x^2-2x+1
f(0)=0^2-2(0)+1
f(0)=0-0+1
f(0)=1 (this is your answer)
